This does not support DirectPHP, and simply displays all the php code in the article.

This is a module. If you are using third party plugins or extensions that do not work on modules (such as DirectPHP), then it will not work on this module either.

I took some time to find out how to specify filetypes (like .doc), though, and found it on wikipedia.

The flow looks ok, but when you select the article, the title of every article is shown as 'Article', instead of the title.

Your comment is not correct. When you select the article you go to joomla core content component, author blog component dosen't control the article view, so the problem you describe has nothing to do with author blog component. You should have to take a look to your com_content menu configuration for the article/category in question.

Its a good idea, but the pop-up window became faded out like the rest of the page, the second time on. I couldnt understand the Facebook icon... was it to login using user's facebook id?

This looks exactly like facebook chat, resides on a bar in the bottom of the window. Very easy to use, install. Only requires you to translate the registration page into english, as it is in Italian.

Hi, I found this extension after must trial and errors with other products for discussion forum. I urge you to promote it more, so that newbies like me can find it! Also, more basic guideline as to how to install it (that first of all, it is an extension), and how to use Kunena menu, and add categories and topics - that would be cool.
Thanks for making this software and giving it free. :-)
