It would have been good if it just used it's own table.
Why? Cleaner database, easier to delete tables after removing the component. No hudge numbers of "articles" in your article manager, while they are actually not articles....
Disappointed....
(if the posts would have been in a separated table i would have used it)

Please, look another time: yvComment supports option to use its own table: its FIRST parameter is: "Use content table" :-)
Moreover, documentation on the Homepage clealy describes differences between "Using Content table" and not using it.
