Installed on 1.5. This plugin is easy to use and works perfectly once you have understood that a Contact must be created for each user which is author of an article.
Really what I was looking for.

Flexi Contact
A very good free extension.
However I have had to work the styling which is not flexible enough.
Also, the extra fields can be text only which is a limitation.
I wasn't able to add an file attachment for example. FlexiContact uses the Joomla mail library which supports attachments, therefore it would be useful to include this type of field.

There are many security implications when allowing public users to upload files to your site. There have to be rules, filters, and limits. It's not a quick job to add this feature securely. You expect a lot for free!

BF Quiz
I have been looking for a quiz extension for several hours until coming to this one.
Although I have not installed or used it really, I have been looking at the documentation and the demo and have to say it is very complete and simple to set up.
It is one of the rare extensions to support an explanation on the correct answer, which is really what I am looking for (it's an add-on to a musical magazine).
However, the price is quite high. 60 USD is more than the price of a whole template.
Also, does it support multi language? My site has to run in 4 languages as I am in contact with my users in those 4 languages.

Iyosis Google Translate
Just tried a number of extensions published on "Automatic translations": GTranslate, GWT by b-project, SEF translate and Liosys GT.
Liosys GT is installed and configured in a short while and does its job perfectly.
The translations are correct.
The default language of the site (a music magazine) is maintained, i.e. when coming back to the original language (French), it doesn't call Google.
The language selected for translation is maintained when reading another article.
The page is fully translated.

Improvements:
- customize translations in the extension (no dictionary choice available from the Google system)
- be able to select/unselect all languages in the module parameters
- be able to make a selected language appear in both drop down select and icons
- include the drop down select title in the translation. I have bypassed that by changing the module name, showing it and put the selected languages as icons
- when the selected languages are in the drop down select, the currently used language should be selected in the drop down.

Thank you for your free extension.
