Wow, this is the easiest component i have ever used. I updated from .14 to .15 in 15 secs maybe less. I was amazed, no really i was. I didn't have to make any changes i used extractor 1.6

This should be on everyone's download list. Putting these sites together can have there own challenges without upgrade problems to add. This takes that away.

Cute little plugin, its works straight away and you can set the quantity of flakes

This plugin has lots of potential but its not quite ready. This plugin if worked would help my users so much as my site is about people with accessible needs. I have given it a good because effort has been made to make joomla more accessible which is never a bad thing. I like the positioning as its out of the way up the top left but please make alterations to it and then it would be fab.

Yup, im very happy with this its simple but yet effective and im a very critical person but this is one of few extensions that i cant pick fault with. I really liked the download area because some extensions are in a download area full of confusing file names and im unsure at times which to select. With this you have an option of 1.0 or 1.5 now thats what i like to see.

Ok i will try to be as fair as i can to CB while writing this.

I wanted a community for my website and as CB is free i turned to that. It installed ok and there was way too many config options and not in a eye pleasing format either.

Software code was very messy and hard to follow at times. I paid for membership as i wanted a couple of extra features so thought i would give it a go. Wish i hadn't as a big waste of money. I installed their audio captcha and needed help, wow it was slow it took a month to get anywhere with them. I found there forums very slow to.

I finally moved on when i had issues integrating it with Vbulletin. Thats a big no no unless you edit some code. (They both share some code functions so it causes fatal errors) Again no help from CB.

I moved to a paid software totally different and that's way better it even connects with facebook.

CB was prob fantastic when it was first created. I now find it dated and messy. Its certainly lacking in web 2.0 features.

In my opinion your better off paying for a well written package with modern options. Thats if you have the ££ to do so of course. CB will give you head aches unless your a very good coder. Oh the templates are very poor to. I cant speak for the premium ones but the standard certainly are.

After installing this it took me about half an hour to familiarise my self with it but once i figured it out then i got straight onto building a form and setting it up. I created a feedback form for users testing aspects of my site and it worked great.

I would like to add logos and stuff which i think you can do by using the custom thing.

Overall very pleased with it.

Its not a bad extension although i did find it limited. For straight simple one off content dl then get this but for anything more try something else.

This is a great add-on to my site. Its easy to configure and keeps track of downloads for my stats. For me it was important to have a dload manager that can handle any media content and this will do everything.

My only suggestions is

To have a setting so that public can see all the downloads but only members can download them. I want to water peoples appitite which will encourage them to register.

At the moment if i set the permissions only members can see these downloads.
