The support I received from this company (Lee) was bar none! I had to convert my site from Sobi2 and she held my hand the whole way.

THIS IS A MUST COMPONENT If you have Sobi2 and need to move to Joomla 1.7 this is your only option for a better quality product and better support - You can not go from Sobi2 to SobiPro, Sobi did not offer an upgrade package.

Yes, you have to pay for it but trust me, you get more than your money's worth. There is absolutely no point in getting free products and then as Joomla grows, they don't.

The AEC component is a must have product if you wish to use subscriptions in your site. I have Jomsocial and it works seamlessly with that component where others fell short.

They keep the product updated on a regular basis so that it adapts to the most used Joomla components so that helps.

Customer Support was excellent as they took the time to help me to understand how the product works and assisted me in setting it up.

I tried others listed here and to say that they were nightmares is an understatement... Try this out, the price is right and they will help you along if you need help.

I had Azrul’s My Blog that comes with Jomsocial. At first glance it looked very promising but once I got into really testing it out, I ran into many limitations and set backs. I really didn’t like the fact that it was intertwined with my Joomla articles so I decided to try all of Joomla’s other blogging systems. This was a task and a half. They were either too complex and/or lacking in options, or far too basic.

Finally I found EasyBlog. EasyBlog was like a breath of fresh air. It had everything I wanted and more. Most importantly, it was easy to install, configure and use. I didn’t have to download it and then waste time searching for add-ons from other developers, and then waste time trying to find which of those add-ons worked well with everything else I had going on inside my site.

EasyBlog integrated seamlessly within my site and has its own image browser and commenting system.

Given the complexity of my site I needed some cosmetic things done after my install and their tech support really stepped up in helping me to reach my goals. I highly recommend it for anyone using Joomla and especially as a replacement for Azrul’s My Blog. It is simply the best blogging system for Joomla.

I tried many mass mailing options and finally tried this one. I'll take this one any day over the others in the extension list here. No complicated interfaces or several steps just to do a simple task. No need to get several mods and plugins just to do the basics.

This company offers onsite documentation, video tutorials and email support. Trust me when I tell you that this is rare. Many software developers say they offer support but when it comes time to getting it, you end up unattended in their support forums with all the rest of their unsatisfied costumers.

Try the Starter and see how clean and easy it to use. If you have a community site then you must get the get the Enterprise. The Enterprise has the ability to include modules and all kinds of other goodies and must-have tools. When I upgraded I did not have to reinstall and did not loose any of my work so that is another plus.

The staff is friendly, and quick to respond.
