Seems to be a very interesting idea and I'de use it.
But I haven't even tested it...
You should allow configuration on the backend to configure a RSS feed source of choice. Being exclusively for use with FWicki isn't nice, specially because that may not be the content that would fit my site.
I've seen the demo page and found feeds in the cloud like "Galveston Weather Feed". Why would my users have interest on knowing about that subject?
Maybe the next version will fit... Thank you!
But I guess that, once you worked this out, you could make it a bit more like the official remository multi-module. I mean, keep the style but allow to choose other kind of lists, like the mosts popular downloads on the last x days.
Also, I don't know what is 'Number of characters' field used for. No matter what number I set, it will always display the same, the file name and the download times.
If the remote download link has arguments, like www.site.com/download.php?fileid=2 it won't work, returning fatal error when displaying the file details.
And also, if I intentionally leave a few desc. fields blank, I will not want to see the labels alone. The lables should only be shown when the respective description is included while adding the file.
I haven't noticed any ability to deal with thumbnails and screenshots.
Well, looks good, but doesn't work for me...
