The functionality for what it is designed for is great. It does just what I was looking for however I have had a pretty frustrating day fending off hackers that are entering through a vulnerability in SVmaps. I won't post the vulnerability here but if you Google SVmaps security vulnerability you will see why I was hacked. I am no longer using the component. Too bad, it had promise.

Thanks for your feedback. You can use the new version 1.1.2 to fix this vulnerability, or use the patch to fix it.

We have also release the alpha version of SVMap 2 in order to let the community test it. Please leave us your feedback in order to release the stable version as soon as possible.

The install was simple and minor changes were easy to accomplish. However, anything advanced seems like it breaks the module.
