Ninja Super sIFR
I'm very happy with this plugin.

Quite easy to use, even for a newbie, cheap and with excellent support.

I was able to easily use my own font (something that was much harder with another sIFR plugin I tried) and set up as many styles as I wanted.

I didn't use the general component settings but set up sIFR styles for individual tags, but that just shows how versatile it is.

I did have a small problem with Firefox, but this was a sIFR problem and not to do with the plugin, never the less the support staff were able, after a couple of goes, to solve it for me.

I can definitely recommend this plugin.

Phoca Favicon
Very good. Literally plug and play - took me a few minutes to get that you have to click create favicon after you have selected your template and uploaded your file but that is just because I am a newbie and still getting my head around Joomla.

Really does do what it says on the tin.

Dreamweaver Joomla Template kit
This is a really useful tool if you are experienced in Dreamweaver but new to Joomla.

Yes, it is a bit pricey but worth it as it saved me hours and hours of work and grief. By the time I had gone through the 2+ hours of tutorials (which took about 2 days as I was creating my template whilst doing it) I had advanced weeks in my knowledge.

Do the full video tutorials they are totally worth it, the tool is just a useful back up to them. Yes you could learn this all yourself but it would be the hard way. This way isn't exactly the easy way but very do-able, well structured, challenging learning.
