OpenSim
Read the description carefully. You must have an OpenSim up and running before you can use this. It does not install OpenSim. This component used to connect to an already existing OpenSimulator. Go to the extension creator website first and also take a look at the OpenSimulator website before you install this on your Joomla site.

I have changed the text in JED already, hoping this makes it a bit clearer. The readme of the next version will contain this information also a bit more conspicuous.

ARI Image Slider
I installed Ari on Joomla 2.5.9. Easy to install. Instructions in the module make it easy to setup. Lots of config options. Very professional looking. Only suggestion I have is the .ini file should be included in the module as a config option. All in all one of the best images sliders I have seen available here.

Cons: It took me a while to find it in Plugins. It was prefaced with (System). Support forum mostly in German, since I only read English it is not much help.

Pros: Easy to figure out. Very organized, lots of mouse-over tool tips making it very user friendly. Worked on my Kunena Forum nicely. It is free!

After using osCommerce and then using Virtuemart I have to say that Virtuemart is superior by far. If I could only leave my review there I would give Virtuemart five stars, however, a component or module is only as good as it's support. While seeking information during the configuration I found myself spending hour after hour sifting through hundreds of forum posts. Many of these posts are unanswered leading to dead-ends and others have incorrect information which caused the greatest of sins, wasted time.

Virtuemart is Great! Support is Dreadful! If you are a professional designer or a very good amateur designer you should use this component. I would have to recommend to newbees to stay away form this component.

Easy to install, easy to use. If you have a lot of people using your Joomla site you really need to install this editor. The user friendly interface makes editing a pleasure instead of work.
