A full evaluation of the extension - Impossible, since I could not get it to work, which is to be expected, since there is no documentation for people new to Joomla and SP Tab.

Courtesy and Honesty - I sent a friendly email and 2 days later still received no reply:

I have installed SP Tab and I see it in Modules, but there is absolutely
no documentation on what to do next, to be able to choose the different
styles as shown on the demo page.

I have read the forum for SP Tab and there is no instructions there either.

There no documentation included when one follows the "Documentation" link
here: (Cannot post a link here, but I mentioned the link that the "documentation" button links to, but there is no documentation.)

Please can you inform me as to where exactly the
documentation/instructions are?

Pros & Cons of the extension and its performance - I could not get it to work, since there is no documentation/instructions.

Level of support received - None and others asking for documentation, in the SP Tab creators' forum, as long as 4 months ago, also recieved no answer.

Ease of usage and deployment - Cannot get it to work since the is no documentation/instructions for people new to Joomla and the product.

Purpose of using the extension (i.e., "I used this extension for a magazine site.") - I used the version 1.5 extension for a standard version 1.5 Joomla site.

Level of difficulty - For me, new to Joomla and the extension, it was very difficult to use without documentation/instructions.

Your experience level with Joomla and web technologies - New to Joomla and still learning.
