I needed to extend and customise the registration process with Joomla websites for clients. This is an invaluable tool if you need to collect and manage user data properly.
Joomla continues to request simple data fields and the latest 2.5 does a poor job with a plugin to enable extra fields, that can't be customised. In comes ExtendedReg and what a job it does!
Extremely robust, reliable and effective. Minor issues on one site which was down to permissions but otherwise works absolute fantastically.
I use this on any joomla websites which require user management / memberships.
regards

For years, i built forms from scratch and used php processors to handle the data, but why bother .... especially when using Joomla.
RSform is one of many software addons for joomla that work absolutely perfectly. The way their software is put together is clean and well coded and just works. The RSform software looks great, works well and is so scalable and to top it all off, the support is just as good.
Well done guys, excellent job. keep it up!

easy to install, configure and interface with my joomla 2.5 site. within 2 hours i had it working exactly how i wanted on a closed site for members only access and its great. i needed a simple, joomla specific forum for a martial arts site amd this was just heaven, compared to phpbb and bridges.
well worth a download and does everything i need. happy chappy and without spending a bean. who can complain really?

I used a yootheme template for a job which is great off the shelf, but by the time it's loaded with content, modules and various images, it becomes a heavy lift job. Beyond optimising all images and using default joomla compression tools, this does the trick perfectly. Easy to use and whilst the developer does warn, it might not work out of the box, personally it's as simple as 123. Do it and see the benefit. Install it, enable it, turn each item on one by one and test your site. If anything breaks, just go back and turn the function off. Great, now a speedy J 1.7 site owner ;-)

Tried 6 different ones this morning, none delivering what i needed and then i stumbled on this. Perfect! I needed to rotate a single image in a module position on my homepage, with a custom link to parts of my site and I needed it to look tip top.... this done the job perfectly! well done, it's spot on! :-)

I needed a booking system for my Taekwondo club www.northantstkd.com which uses joomla 1.5. I located this and installed it and within a few minutes it was basically functioning and within an hour, completely tailored to the site. It's reliable, simple to use, effective and seriously good value. If you need a booking system for Joomla, look no further!!
