I used this extension for a school site that wanted testimonials to be displayed and out of the box it worked great. I had a few issues with having to customize the CSS for the way text was displayed and got immediate help in the forums. The team that develops this really is on top of customer service and I was really thrilled!

Very cool, but renders drop down menus unuseable

I would love to use this for one of our clients' sites and installed it. It installs and works great, however it ruins drop down menus rendering them not viewable if the slider is published near the menu area. I am assuming a JS conflict, but sadly I emailed the developer and have not heard back, which is a shame as if he had emailed and given me a solution to fix this, I would have bought the Pro version of this and supported the component.

As it stands, if you have drop down menus and you use the slider in a top module, the drop down menu items slip underneath (behind) the slideshow, rendering the last few items on drop downs not viewable and not clickable. This kills navigation ability for the user.

Would still consider using this if the developer could get back to me with a solution. I sent email on May 7th.

Otherwise, super slider, but not if you have drop down menus published near top of site, so beware.

Simple Image Gallery
I am using the PRO version of this Mambot and I have to say, after searching and trying about 5 different galleries (all had conflicts with other components/modules/mambots!) this one works and is very slick looking. Took me no time at all to install, configure and get a very sleek looking gallery! Kudos and thanks!
