Can't test on localhost prior to deployment on live site

This extension looked pretty good but when installing on my localhost test setup I got an error when uploading files. My request for support was answered timely but it said:"Sorry we don't support development servers or test servers."
Assuming that people install this component on a live site without testing it before goes against any advise the Joomla community normally gives:" ...test before installing on a live site". Expecting this from a developer is unreasonable.
The developer of this extension should very clearly state this on their website so people can weight this before spending $35 on something that might or might not work.
I will use Remository instead!

This is the service we don't give. Yes it is true that we don't support dev or local systems. Once you are buying an extension we will support when you live.
