Room for improvement, a couple of suggestions would be:
(1) a setting to either show all future events, or events within x number of days, where the number of days can be determined by admin.
(2) a free add-on that automatically adds all national holidays, custom to the country of which the site is targeted.
Other than that, truly recommended!
