Proforms
It had been several months since using Proforms and I had to go back to basics and request help. Well I was really surprised and impressed to receive a response within a matter of minutes.
Then I had another question - close to the end of the working day and yet again I received a response - something I was not expecting. This time they went way beyond the scope of FREE support. Well what can I say, this team are excellent in all that they do and provide. I would not hesitate in recommending these guys. Many thanks.

Really love this add on for joomla. So simple, works straight out of the box (J1.6). Should be incorporated into the core functionality.

I've been on board with this component for several months now. It's got a great feature set which is continually being added to and improved upon. A must have for anyone wishing to embrace social connectivity. Numerous plugins and most importantly great support. You won't regret getting this component.

I am using the free version with several of the plugins, this is a must for taking the pain out of viral social networking capabilities.
Came up against one issue and the developer was on hand to work through the errors within minutes. Very easy to setup, very useful, and great support. Highly recommend.

Ok,

Installation instructions clear. Thats about it. Product works standalone, but when you try and use it with any other of their products it does not behave correctly.

None of their recent products are stand alone, they all require some form of deviation from instructions, or severe hacking to get working.

To top this, loads of display problems in IE. When I contacted the developer he did say he didn't have IE on his machine. So I would only assume all products would have errors in IE.

I contacted the only support person 8 weeks ago. I do have his skype address as well, so have contacted him daily. He is online and refuses to answer.

I did get one of the handful of fixes completed shortly after my first request and this was a FF fix, so assume he was able to see the problem and resolve it through Fire Bug.

Anyway all of the IE problems remain, and problems with his other software when both are used together. I have until now purchased all software that is available from these people, and would hope that my loyalty would be rewarded, alas this is not the case.

To top this my support call was closed... I questioned this and they told me they closed all their open calls... which makes me think I am not the only one with this problem. Also they do not have a forum, I guess this is also to protect against any negativity.

I am now resorting to a paid job to fix this commercial software. I'm not sure all their testimonials are true.

I have not been aggressive or offensive in any of my contact, and cannot understand why there is no support for a fundamental problem.

A good product if you don't have any customers that use IE....

The situation is quite different. You achived a first class support for several days from us, we also have done some special adjustments for you for FREE. As we told you, the most issues were cause by your selfmade template which we have fixed for FREE, too!

Your Webpage and the look of your virtuemart shop were at last perfect, and we solved all of your problems. After we declined to create more special adjustments for free for you , you wrote this review. (in despite?)

The fact, that you post that rewrite to a non commercial, not related Joomla! module from us, verified the presumption, that you wanna bash us.

We have hundreds of satisfied customers, you are the first one who write such truthless statements. It is really sad that such people exist!

I've rated this good, only for what it is supposed to do.

Unfortunately this did not work for me at all. I did receive a few emails in relation to my problems, and then it went quiet.

Basically there is some conflict and I don't know where. I unpublished every other module on my site and this would still not work - just a loading image.

Phoca Gallery
I can't believe how good this gallery is.

In the entire life of Joomla I don't think there has been a better looking gallery component.

I am really impressed.

The only reason why this is 4 stars is the lack of being able to create new galleries / categories in the front end.

For that reason I cannot use it on my site, but as soon as users can create galleries in front end this will be a 5 star for me and I will gladly donate.

Similar sentiments to a previous poster - great things come in small packages !

Easy to install, very professional looking and does what it says on the tin. Possibly the best 'invite' module I've seen yet.

I've given this component an average purely on the idea.

There is no support forum for this so unfortunately I'll post my issue here.

I'm running J1.0.13 & CB 1.1. When I publish the module it creates the tab, but the page loads with errors in windows and I get a 'Error: partscollect[0] has no properties
Source File' error.

When you select the 'share videos tab' nothing happens.

I have had to uninstall this module for now, but will come back to it again when its more stable.

Great idea though....

I cannot thank the developer enough for his help and communication in getting this component to me whilst he is experiencing site issues.

All mails were replied to in a timely manner. The component installed straight out of the box and is easy to use. I can see the benefits of this for my community site and look forward to using it.

I would and have suggested however that this component should work automatically, or indeed have a frontend option for site admins that I do not grant backend access to. I think however automatic mails would suffice.

I hope this gets adopted for the next release.
