This is really one of the good component for portfolio I have come across. I was looking for the same functionality. Earlier I had to made some different combination of plugins ans modules! But this is All-in-ONE. Just a single suggestion, that clicking on the thumbnail image it would be great if it show the full image with the project description with lightbox effect. Keep it up! Eagerly waiting for next release.

Really excellent component. ease of use and had overcame the joomla explorer limitations. It is my first component to install in each joomla site.
