I noticed you are using at least 2 other plugins, but I don't know if has something to do with that or a template you're using or maybe some code changes. It could be a lot of different factors, but since others aren't having this trouble, I'd like to know why you are so I can make a note of it in my compatibility documentation. Check the layout administration in the jDownloads backend. Here you can easy change what you will in the layouts. You must not use the jDownloads .css file. This is only a option. Many thousand user find the layout management from jdownloads useful, easy and better as in many other addons.
