Very good extension, easy to install and works with Sobi2 without having to install a separate plug in.
The extension now works very well and looks very nice thank you!
BUT, first I could not get any words/keys to display in my module after installing the com + mod.
HOWEVER, searching Google for 1 hour, I came up with this explanation I found in the editor's forum (through Google), which I tried (among 1.000 other things). [Thank you user Skorp!]
It did help ME, so if you are stuck, it might help you!
Try to turn OFF the option [in the RAF modules parameters]:
Integrate with search [No]
Integrate with content [No]
Integrate with content metakey [No]
Any publisher should always made some kind of documentation and basic FAQ/Help to solve such troubles! I guess, like me, most Joomla users are autodidact.

both component and module are installed.. i tried many options but could not get a working tag cloud module on my site's frontend.

This extension solved my need for cloud tagging. I can show what's going on in my sites without much hassle. Config options are thorough, installation went fine. It works perfectly.
It lacks only one option for me: show the x top counted words, sorted alphabetically.
Besides that, I highly recommend this extension.

The module and component install went fine, but I am unable to get a cloud based on all of the words in my meta keys. I have comma separated keywords typed into the metadata keywords area of articles that Raf doesn't display in the cloud.
No matter what combination of options I use in the configuration, I can't get it to work. Support is non exsistent on the Raf message board.
It would be great if this module worked as it's the easiest one out there for my needs of tagging articles in both the front and back ends.

Fantastic tags system, allows easy and intuitive tag management and the best part is that it takes everything from your meta entries on your articles like a good tag system should. This means you don't need to type meta entries and tags!
You can blacklist or whitelist words, and as new words are available you can approve them.

If you want to tag based on article words or metadata - which is the way to go - and want something fully integrated with Joomla/search/SEF/ even forums like Kunena and PHPBB3 then this is the way to go, without question. Perfect tagging addon and very well done I might add.
When I first installed the component and the module, it didn't work.
But then I went to the forum of them and rapidily It was clear why it was not showing the tags in my website. Excelent extension.
The best thing is that you don't have to fill the key words of each article. The extension creates it for you. It's almost like magic.
After you see it working it's impossible not make the donation (I did).
Thank you guys.

I will post here what I have already write on Raf Clouds forum:
"don't have words... It works like charm. I will donate some money as soon as possible. I would vote your extension and I confirm to whom it may concern that is the only tag cloud extension for joomla that it works indeed, free of charge. Also, I think that I support your extension on Romanian joomla users forums or whatever. There is more than six month that I looking for a Joomla tags clouds extension, but nothing works so fine, nothing is so easy to use, no one had so fast and kindly support.
Tnx from all my heart.
Best and kindly regards,
Robert"
just for the records: it works very fine in legacy mode too.

Wonderful tool with amazing functionality.
Works like a charm. Very easy to install and configure. Plenty of options to explore and present your content.

This generates a fantastic tag cloud which links to your search, making it not only user friendly but effective, too. The search returns a short sentence containing the tagged word so your user can decide which article is the most relevant. You can add or exclude as many words as you wish so you generate the cloud you want. My one criticism is that every time I go back into configuration, I manage to delete my list of blacklisted words and have to do them again. More likely to be me than the component, no doubt.
I didn't think that finding a good cloud module would be that hard, but after trying the 3 alternatives, Raf Cloud does (almost) everything I want! Displaying meta-keywords(!) in a cloud.
Both, the collection of tags as well as the cloud module are higly configurable.
The only thing I'm missing is, that the search results should be limited to those where the tag appears in the metatag and not just in the content.
Still... nice work! Very pleased:-)
btw: I had issues with no keywords appearing at all. After uninstalling and reinstalling the module, everything worked fine!

This is very good stuff. Easy installing of module and component and great to use and see on the front page.
If you click on a word in the cloud a great short view of the articles are showed with the possibility to click on it to go to the article.
Many thanks for all the work!
Marcel

Wow, no offence to other solutions for tag cloud, this is by far the best. Works flawlessly, as far as my testing goes so far. Very configurable, easy options for black listing non essential words, ability to limit words in the cloud to tags only.
Very nice integration with other plugins / modules.

Despite the fact that Raf Cloud generates keywords based on actual content instead of using those in the meta data, which I'd prefer, it's a solid component that gets the job done with a number of options to tweak. Once you publish a tag, though, it works off of the search function which does uses the meta data keywords, so it's all good in the end. I'm using it on www.spindlezine.com and it was easy to install and configure, and maintaining it has been a snap.
The one major flaw is its slim blacklist, making the manual process of suppressing the most common words a bit of a pain. Hopefully that can be remedied in the next update...?
