Instant results as you type! Introducing JAutosearch, a new search engine plugin from 'corePHP' that allows you to query results on your website in real time as visitors are typing into the search bar. JAutosearch will actively predict what the user is looking for and present a list of suggested keywords as well a quick pick of results based on the suggestions available.

JAutosearch offers a simple to install, yet enormously useful tool for your visitors, helping them find what they are looking for even if they might not know the proper terminology or keywords to use.

Normally, searching your website is one of the most resource intensive operations that Joomla! needs to perform. JAutosearch eliminates this operation by performing all processing off-site in our data center on our new search engine. Great extension, but it only works on the front page

This extension would be perfect. It does a better job than any other previous plugin at finding the right article, and looks very professional. It is also highly customizable.

Unfortunately, I can only get it to work on the front page. I opened a support ticket, followed the suggestions of the staff, but my ticket eventually disappeared after several days without a fix. I really hope this is fixed, because it has SO much potential.

The plugin should definitely be able to work on more than just the homepage. I was unable to find your ticket but if you submit a new one or contact us otherwise, we can look into the issue further. I recommend logging into our site to access the support center since our ticket system's outgoing messages sometimes can be blocked by spam filters (also so you can see the ticket's status as we do).

This has potential, but it crashed our site.
Ticket has been raised and Steven mailed.

Have not seen this functioning on our site yet, as soon as this was enabled, it caused jquery conflicts which messed with our slideshows, menus, logins etc.

Despite disabling the jquery parameters in the plugin, it still did not resolve our issue, until we actually uninstalled the plugin.

Dont let this put you off, test it for yourself, it may well work well for you.
