This distribution contains both a crawler that indexes various Joomla! data including articles, newsfeeds and virtuemart products, and a search interface that mimics well-known engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.
JSolr is modular so new plugins can easily be added to expand what JSolr can index and search.
Important Notice: This extension suite provides client-side tools for Solr only. You will need to set up your own Solr server or use a Solr hosting provider in order to use these extensions.
Important Notice: You will need to be able to install the 3rd party Solr PHP PECL library onto your Joomla! server.
