I needed a search solution that allowed me to create modules that only searched specific ZOO app content. Using MijoSearch with the ZOO extension (commercial) did the job.
The ZOO extension allows you to create filters based on App Instance, category, access restriction.
I would have given an excellent review if the ZOO extension would have a 'type' option. But the rest of the system and the support are excellent.

This is the best search engine I have ever used! Easy to set up, accurate & relevant results, a lot of customization...
The AJAX search is a miracle for Joomla sites, it works for ALL Joomla components on the fly, no need for extra things.

I've been using another extension from Mijosoft for about two months and I'm very satisfied with the extension and support so I decided to try MijoSearch after they added Ajax search.
The performance and the accuracy of the search results is amazing, they have build a robust relevance system. The Ajax search is also very flexible, I was able to customize it according to my template quickly.
Also, Mijosoft gives the best support I have ever experienced for a paid component.
Highly recommended and worth every cent!

This is a truly great product with amazing support.
I had long been in search (no pun intended) for a better and more versatile search experience, when I first stumbled upon Mijosearch. In my book, you get a whole lot more than you pay for with this product and with it's plugin system it is extremely versatile and let's you cherry pick after your own needs.
The _only_ thing less than perfect of this product is that the css and html design for the front end perhaps don't quite match - at least mine - template out of the box. But give your CSS some love, and you will be amazed at what great search experience you can give your site.

This is the only search component in the Joomla world that shows my products with images & prices in the search results and the results are ordered/listed by relevance. Whatever can I request from a search extension?
