I have now made my very own Tag Cloud which albeit is in beta but will go through your Joomla content (and is also compatible with JComments, Virtuemart Products, and CCBoard posts) and automatically generates a tag cloud based on your content. I am aware people will want content from other components, so if you want one adding then please ask in the comments below or on my website and I will do my best. I have made the code simple as well so if you don't mind changing the PHP in the module then it will be easy to copy and paste a few lines to add other components to the content list in the tag cloud.
FEATURES
* Supports Articles, VirtueMart Products, JComment comments, and ccBoard posts.
* Allows exclusion of words, on-top of the included extensive list of 'common' words.
* Signature of author is turned on by default, you can disable this in module manager.
* Font size variation is allowed, i.e. most popular is 25px, least is 10px
* Limit the amount of tags in the cloud, this defaults to 25.
* Developed on PHP 5.2.X, please inform me of problems.
Fixed Issues:
* Issue with first character of word being removed when followed by a foreign character such as áéíóú
* Load issues on lower end servers with large amounts of content, see new setting in module to set row parse limit.
* Added ability to filter tags by minimum string length, as requested by Kentel.
* Added support for K2 (this may be buggy, please give feedback)
* Optimised analysing loop to help load time on shared hosting with large content.
* Fixed issue with language specific characters: Norwegian, German, Spanish etc (this now seems completely fuctional, please report bugs to my website)
* Author/Category filter added for the content section
* Support for 1.6 added (this is early beta)
THIS PRODUCT IS IN BETA ALTHOUGH EXTENSIVE TESTING HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON MY SERVER SETUP.
Seems like a nice plugin except that it erases the letters previous to the letters with accents such as "á" which makes it impossible to use in languages such as Spanish.

This was the 6th tag cloud module I tried and the only one that met my needs. It just works!
Great module! Nothing unnecessarily fancy. Uses template CSS so that there is not yet ANOTHER css file to "tame". Works like a charm right out of the box. I needed to install it to find out if I could limit by sections etc...and it DOES! So maybe this can be added in the module description here! Thank you!
There isn't a way to control the results page when clicking a tag which means it loads almost my whole frontpage with the results :(

Why would you expect a feature which isn't listed on the feature list? Please contact an extension owner before leaving an unsatisfactory review.
It is breaking words with special characters (i.e. áéíóú, ç). My webpage is brazilian, so it is really an issue to me.
But it is very easy to configure and publish. I'll wait for a new version. :)

I looked at a number of tag cloud mods. This one is incredibly easy to setup. It looks great. And it did an excellent job of finding some good keywords, all on it's own.
For those who don't want to fiddle with a whole lot of settings and complicated assortment of mods, plugins, components and whatnot; this is really the way to go. Quick and simple.
