Joomulus is a flash based tag cloud for Joomla

At the Advanced Parameters you manually enter your desired Tag, Link and Font Size

The module creates a tag cloud in flash - and also a search engine friendly tag cloud that Google and other engines can index - the SEO tag cloud only shows to your users if they do not have flash installed.

New version of Joomulus released 12 May 2009, fixes previous issues with IE6 and provides a simpler, yet very powerful workflow.

Greek characters are now enabled in the tag cloud.

Joomulus is based on Roy Tanck's wp-cumulus http://www.roytanck.com a wonderful Wordpress 3D flash tag cloud plug-in.

I like the eye candy this module. In fact the only module I will add to my site for the sake of eye candy. However, I hate that it doesn't support other language (e.g. Arabic/Hebrew). I hope that can be achievable giving the fact that it's flash. I am looking forward to more releases from this developer.

This is a nice looking module, but I just want to mention that in the new Joomla 1.0.x version, the "Exclude words" parameter is not working, so it is picking up words such as "the", etc. Looking forward to the corrected version. Thanks!

I've always wanted the extension for my site after seeing so many sites with this tag cloud.this works perfectly fine in my site. I would request the developers to develop a Joomla 1.0.x version too as there are so many sites out there who will like the tag cloud for their sites too.

Isn't the point of a tag cloud to give the search engines some food? Then why base it on Flash? I know that Flash is now at least partially searchable by search engines, but still I wouldn't use flash for such a component.

It's purely eye candy. Although alternate content can be specified which would help search engines; I'll fix up the alternate content shortly. And I've herd google has started to index flash content as well? Not sure if thats true or not.
