Probably the best TagCloud solution for Joomla.
Simple installation and configuration.
Works great even with Joomla built-in-SEF. No additional plugin required.
The great 10-min-Tutorial saves a lot of time.

I tried various other tagging solutions for Joomla and found this to be the best. The one gripe (its really not an issue) I did have with it was the implementation of the editor plug-in and not utilizing the metakey field. There are probably others who prefer it but I felt like I (or others) would be doing double the work and did not feel inclined to use the admin import metakey function since I expect a large number of articles from various people and wanted this to be real time.

For my situation it made sense to modify (my plan is to move it out to a plug-in) com_content save task line 151:

$combined[$id]=$tags;

Maybe the author could have this as an option.

Finally, someone has done tags right! Not only is this free, it works! It's SEO friendly - all encouragements for this developer to continue! BTW, separate tags with a comma to create lists!

the GREAT thing of this is that you can import old keywords *aka keywords from before you still this* and it makes everything go so smooth

Nice component and extensions, but I have problems to make this work. When I insert one tag, it create 3 tags with the same name and the tag's links don't show any article according of tag-article.

Is is possible to make a plugin that makes all tags in article linked to tag system automatically.
is it possible to entegrate other components to central tag system like xmap do. (videocomponents, blogs, directories, etc..)

I would suggest 2 small things.
1 - add UTF-8, for words that have, for example, "ç", "ã" ..
2 - put option to order by colls in the list of "Term Manager".

It works just as advertised. Easy way to create and manage tags for new and old articles. Works great with SEF urls, and you can install Artio SEF plugin (installation is made from Ario SEF control pannel) to get the best results. I recommend this tags system, is what I needed.

This extension has alot of potential, but needs some tweaks. Not enough instruction, had some issues with managing the backend (i.e. deleting lists) and layout of tags overflowed site template. Great concept, looking forward to next release.

Does exactly what it says it will and installed/configured without a hitch! Follow the basic instructions on the dev's site to install the sh404sef plugin and have had no issues. Does not mess up SEF links and was very, very easy to import tags from keywords in just a few clicks!

This extension was very implement and configure. I hit a bit of a snag when Tags kept linking only to my site's homepage - but then I realized that I had unthinkingly installed and activated both the sef404 and TagSef plugins. Once I deleted the TagSef plugin - everything worked just fine.

This is the best tagging system for Joomla! It is very easy to understand and master its usage.

Maybe the author can replace the Add Tags button with a new field named Tags in the Article Parameters, since the space below the Editor is a little crowded.

I also hope the author will add multi-lingual support so I can translate this great tool into Chinese language.

I was looking for ages for a tagging system that will be easy to use, modular (only install those module that you really need) and works like a real tagging system.
This one is perfect!
I had a small issue with blog type display but proved to be just a bug from the RC3 version.. now its 1.0 stable.
Developer responded quickly on his support forum, 5 stars from me.
