Hi, this plugin is simply fantastic! Fast and simple to install and use. I recommend!
I've followed what little instruction there is for this plug-in; granted, plug-ins are fairly simple to activate. And yeah, when I refresh my site and view the source, I can see the javascript right there above the /head tag, and the code appears to be identical to the code I'm seeing at the Google analytics site -- but it still keeps saying "tracking code not installed" at the GA site, so I have no clue what's wrong with it, and there is no way to ask the plug-in's creator for his thoughts on the matter, since there is no forum and no way to contact him whatever. I have to give the extension the lowest possible rating for that; it's simply inexcusable for the author of any kind of free software to be completely unreachable. And now I've wasted all this time on the thing (it's been about 6 hrs since I installed it, and still GA says it's not installed), and I still have to find some way to get this stupid javascript on my site.
I don't think there could be an easier way to safelly and quickly add your google analytics code. Totally hassle free -- thank-you for this free extension.
Probably the easiest way to insert the google analytics code into your site without touching your source code.
I will still rate this extension as best, but would probably be nice if the owner would upgrade the extension with the possibility to select between: "A single domain", "One domain with multiple subdomains" and "Multiple top-level domains".

This is quite possibly my favorite plugin for two reasons...
1) It is simple to install. It literally took me less than one minute to download from codeis.com and install on my website.
2) It works! The only thing you have to do is enter your unique web id (provided by Google Analytics) and you're DONE! It works straight out of the box assuming that you have set up your website tracking profile in Google Analytics correctly.
This is an excellent addition for any Joomla based website. Highly recommended!!!

It took me one minute to download, install, and configure this plug-in, and immediately began seeing my own Live(beta) traffic in Google Analytics.

As good as a Google Analytics plugin can get. Download, install, insert ID, save, check source code, check Google Analytics. Finished
Don't know what's different between my site and the last 2 site reviews because instructions are simple, get Web Property ID, put ID in plugin, turn plugin on...but it didn't work for me.
I tried some extensions for installing Google Analytics on my Joomla 1.6 website. This one was the only one that worked immediately, without doing any tricks. I think this plugin deserves to be one of the top 10 in the Site Analytics directory. Recommend you using it!
