This extension works really well. Installed the plugin, pasted the code from analytics and enabled it, clicked view page source and I could see the analytics code before the ending head tag which also means its the latest version of analytics (used to be before closing body tag). Guys you don't need to wait to see if it's working, just check that the code is their by right clicking then selecting view page source. You should then be able to see your pasted google id. Thanks to the developer!

Pressing the download button it downloads a beta version for 1.6

After inserting the correct google analytics code... and waiting one day... It does not work...sorry
Owner's reply

1. One day is to soon to view data.
2. Do not add view if your code doesn`t work. Go to bug submit page added in description. Add bug and your page url.
3. This is beta. So don`t complain that download button sends to beta.

The only thing I needed was the Google Analytics code wich worked with all my templates (around 15 templates for my site) and this is the answer to my need. Just install, set the UA code and you are ok, no need to edit every template to add the code.
It saved my day !!!
I didn't need anything more. This is simple but it does what I need, no fancy and uninteresting feature: just add google analytics on all you pages without the need to change anything on templates.
Thanks a lot.

Seems to work really well and easily.

Without having to create a new position in the template or mess with it - give me a break, who does that?

Just put in your ID and it's done

Does what is says, places the analytics-script before the -tag.
No additional fancy stuff, nice.
