Piwik is an open source web analytics
system written by a team of
international developers, and runs on a
PHP/MySQL webserver. Piwik is used by
over 250,000 websites and is translated
in more than 45 languages. It aims to be
an open source alternative to Google
Analytics and is capable of analyzing
your site visitors in real-time, not
only on a day-by-day basis.
This plugin is based on the Joomla 1.5
version of Fredrik Åström (see http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/site-analytics/6885) and has
some extra features (a.o. rules for the
configuration options).
Don't forget to add your Piwik server
details before activating the plugin.
This version has proven to work with
Piwik 1.6 and 1.7
I installed this plugin in J! 2.5.1. The first thing I noticed is that the language files are broken:
PLG_SYSTEM_PIWIK_ instead of PLG_SYSTEM_PIWIKSTATS_ - not a big thing, but still! But the main thing is: It's not putting the PIWIK code into my index.php file, not even if I use a standard template!
