i have to switch to currentyear only or startyearonly for this year and back to start-end the next year... but i'm too lazy so i've changed row 18 of helper.php in
if ($yearFormat == 1 || $startYear==date("Y"))
now if start and end years are the same only one is displayed!
i hope it could be usefull

The newest version is absolutely fantastic and very easy to use. I think that even if I could implement these things without the module I would still just use the module because of how easy it is to use. Great Job!!!

Thank you very much for your kind feedback and for your suggestion regarding the provision of a larger box to enter the html info!
I will implement this feature in the next version of the Custom Footer extension, which will be released in the very near future.

Thanks phil.
but in your next release you might want to set the default setup save as UTF 8 as some servers cause creation of unwanted characters..

Great job! I love the ability to use HTML in the second line.
Thank you very much for your feedback! Cheers, Phil
Fyi, in order to add additional seperators, I added my own on the first line, for example:
name of site | all rights reserved | site created by | you get the idea...
Thanks Philippe!

I inserted at line 11 before :
$part1 = "Copyright © ".date("Y");
inserted this above:
$part1 = "";
$part2 = "";
$part3 = "";
$part4 = "";
$part5 = "";
Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for your feedback! To the best of my knowledge, the current version fixes that issue. Cheers, Phil
