Now allows for a custom sitename if you want something different from the global sitename.
Eliminates extra text included with the install package like: "Joomla! is free software. . ." and "GNU/GPL" license information from your copyright. However, this module allows the addition of this text if you would like. (you will have to unpublish the core footer module)
Examples of the displayed module:
Example 1:
If your site name is, "Widgits"
If you input, "2004 -" in the "Pre-Date Text" parameter
and input, "Inc. All Rights Reserved." in the "Post-Text" parameter
The following will display as your copyright:
© 2004 - 2009 Widgits Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Allows the addition of links to any portion of the copyright, plus, custom copyright text before or after the © symbol. This is useful for languages other than English.
Example 2:
If your site name is, "Widgits"
If you input, "2004 -" in the "Pre-Date Text" parameter
and input, "LTD. | All Rights Reserved. | Site Design by: Jim Sites.com" in the "Post-Text" Parameter
The following will display as your copyright:
© 2004 - 2009 Widgits LTD. | All Rights Reserved. | Site Design by: Jim Sites.com

I was thinking about building something identical for a client site before I thought I'd check the JED out to see what was already available. This came up as the first result, I installed it directly off their web site and it let me customise everything the way I needed. The params are a bit excessive however I'm sure someone might find them useful. The options I needed were there and I was quickly able to provide what my client wanted.

They added the ability to completely customize this module by moving the ordering around with the backend params per my request! They did so in a few days! I donated big.

I tried several modules for this such as "Custom Footer for Joomla! 1.5" and "Copyright and Current Year".
None of them could include url link and customized text in the order I wanted.
Neither could Advanced Custom Copyright Module, that's why I posted on the support forum and they provide me 2 updates (4.1 & 4.2) to do so in just a couple of hours!
Don't forget to donate, they really deserve it!

I wanted the option to be able to input an automatic sitename on some pages and an option to enter a manual site name on forum pages.
After an email to the support team, they made this happen within 3 days! That is what I call great support!

Very easy to use module that takes the pain out of placing and updating copyright information in your Joomla site. Took me less than 2 minutes to download, install and place copyright on a site

Great basic functionality. I like the fact that it takes a necessary function and makes it happen automatically. No sweat, no fuss. Great work!
