Although the extension works well for URLs, it seems to disable edit links on the article pages. Clicking on the 'edit' icon takes me to an editing interface for an empty article page...

Very useful plugin. It would be nice to have it in standard assembly Joomla!
However, observed some shortcomings: incorrect work when using a content plugin "pagebreak".

The extensions seems is nice, but it works incorrectly with Pagebreak plugin - when we split articles on different pages, the pages get valid
conversion (according HP router), but they keeps to be off-hour (articles continuation still keeping old links from ID article/category).

I have try lots of sef components from this site, but some of them can't work with mod-extendmenu, some of them aren't compatible with Joomfish, after installing this amazing plugin, all frustrating issue which I have google but can't find the right answer were fixed!

With this plugin enabled you can say that Joomla SEF are perfect out of the box :)

This is a must have extension if you absolutely want to get rid of those pesky ID numbers on articles when friendly url's are enabled!

Probably the first module out of hundreds that I have installed with a simple on / off switch setting after upload. Keep up the great work.

I like this plugin because it is clean and simple and does what it says. Hats off to the developer.

The only issue it causes is with the Joomla pagination. If you have say a blog with several pages of articles, HP Router will mess up the "Start" and "1" links in the pagination list and will cause them to link to the current page # that you are on. For instance, if you are on page 6 of the blog list, if you click start, it does not take you back to the start of the blog articles but keeps you on the current page. Kind of annoying and is probably easily fixed.

This is the best component for Joomla. Joomla has almost all features to build good links.

Any experienced Joomla user can build better optimized ranks now with only this extension.

It is fast and lightweight too. 5/5 for excellent work.

The only problem with Joomla!'s SEF is the ID in the URL. Joomla! already has the necessary elements to fix this, and HP Router uses them, making this extension the most lightweight and the most natural SEF extension out there.

All this plugin does is remove the ID from the URL. Nothing more, nothing less, and just what I needed.

I'm a Joomla! developer myself, and I couldn't have coded a simpler plugin!

For once, SEF and yet easy and effective. Works out of the box & does what it says without a lot of fiddling around - running on 5.10 without probs.

This is really a sure shot extension to remove those IDs or numbers from your Joomla generated URL in one go. I have used it with Joomla 1.5.9 and it gives neat clean URLs as expected.

Everytime I see my URLs, I always think that there are something unnecessary. They are IDs for category and article. I wonder how to remove those IDs. Then I found this plugin and installed it. And it successfully removes those weird IDs! Thank you...

Simple but efficient plugin that worked straight out after install.
I use Joomla v1.5.9 and had SEF activated. This already makes URLs very clean but they were still a bit spoiled by the automatic ID numbering.
With HP-router my URLs are now perfect. SEF + HP-Router will display very comprehensive URL's in search engines and this is a BIG plus.
