Whenever you create or save an article in Frontend or Backend, this plugin automatically fills in the keywords and description for you.
It does this for the keywords by:
1. Parsing all the words in the article and ordering them by number of times used (you can choose to generate keywords from title, content or both)
2. Removes the most common words in your language from the list by comparing it against a blacklist
3. Adds the top words into the keywords section (Limit keywords by length or number)
After saving the article you can also make some changes and any words you add to the keyword or description section will not be overwritten when you save. But what is with that many old articles without keywords? This version adds the ability to regenerate keywords for all articles in the database. Simply set the option to “Yes”, reload "Frontpage" and set it back to “No.” All articles in the database will now have keywords. You can save, delete or change the keywords for all articles by changing the options "Regenerate All Keywords and save it" and "Minimum Word Length" or the "Keywords-Blacklist". If you are not using "save by writing" then the description and keywords aren't saved in the article but the searchengine can get it from the sourcetext, because they are generated "on the fly".. The Keywords-Blacklist is german but you can change this in backend. You can find an link to an english Keywords-Blacklist on the Download-Page.

Thats not all here some other options:
* HTML page title configuration. Set your page titles in three different ways
* You can also customize what the separator is (in this ex. it's a pipe, can be any character).
* Additionally, you can customize the front page of your site's title tag to display a custom string.

We all know how crucial SEO is but adding keywords to every new article, no matter how small, can be very time-consuming and often overlooked. This extension does everything you want automatically - you need never worry about adding keywords again. You can specifiy static keywords to be included in every article and specify those that should never be added. Simples!

This one is a real must have extension! Must say, I first thought it's not working well, but after 5 minutes I realized I was looking at a wrong page. The generator does what it says it will do and saves tons of time. I recomend everybody to use it. Congrat to the writer. p.s. must say, that the response to my e-mail deserves 5 of 5 stars as well!
I am new to the world of Joomla. I purchased SEO_Generator to generate key words for my blog in order to make it more searchable. This extension installed immediately and easily. Because of my inexperience I had some misunderstandings which Matthias cleared up quickly and completely. I am very satisfied.

Tested the component and must say that I am not that impressed of it.
The results are okay but nothing special which can not be achieved with other extensions in the same category.
It only works with articles and not with 3rd Party extensions, so it is a fair solution only for the core component.

This extension does perform as described. No more time consuming SEO, it does all the SEO for you on the fly. I did contact the developer about some questions related to Norwegian language. Did receive detailed explanation from developer in less than 24 hours. Perfect support, thanks!
I have used this plugin in joomla 1.5 with good results, but now I'm using joomla 2.5, I see even better results. Keywords are more accurate than before. Most of us seek free plugins but this time it's worth buying a product that works perfectly.

Impressed. I am not the easiest man to get to write excellent reviews but this is a great plugin that just works. The time this has saved me can't be calculated as I have a lot of pages on my site - thank you Matthias, you are a lifesaver, now just get to work on a virtuemart version :)
A very positive experience for me, easy install and works like it says it does. This is going to be one of my standard plugins. Even though the tags it writes are not as good as ones I would write individually, the ones it does create are far better than having empty tags. I like that it allows me to improve the tags it creates and won't overwrite my changes.
The regenerate all tags function is nice but I would like that if instead of rewriting all the tags on the website it could be limited to just certain categories or only empty tags. Even without that I'll give it 5 stars.

I'd been looking for exactly this kind of solution for a while. I wanted something that could generate keywords from article content and load them in the Meta Keyword field in the article itself.
I had a question at first and the developer, Matthias, came back to me an extensive answer.
I am looking forward to future updates which I hope will include a translation table and a whitelist.
