This Mambot alllows you to add some userful meta tags used by Google to track and verify your Joomla! web site. Features: * Handles the meta tag needed by Google Sitemaps; * Handles the script tag needed by Google Analytics; * Easy to use (just install and configure it, no programming abilities needed); * No code changing needed, neither to the template, neither to Joomla; * Full Joomla 1.0.x compatible (should work in Joomla v1.5.x, in legacy mode, but I've not tryed yet); * Full XHTML compatibility. Installation: You have to install it as a normal Joomla! 1.0.x mambot, then configure it in the normal way :);

Wow this is a hidden gem! Works perfectly right off the bat. I highly recommend it. I would encourage the author(s) to update this great extension. Google analytics has a new script for verification and should be easy to include that as well.
