The component has been tested on several sites. Project AG Google Analytics will develop, so I wait support and feedback from you.
I've tried all of them too! This is the best one. If you are not using this.., you are wrong. Other extensions out there are simply garbage. There is no better extension..,this thing is awesome. Install is painless, doesn't take out your website, quick config, and the graphical interface sets the standard in this category! Admin, DigitalAVI.com
Works very good. I haven't seen an installation procedure, but it wasn't too hard to figure out.
@dafaher: I had the same error at first, but it seemed that in the options I had used the wrong ID for my site. I didn't find it at first either in the URL from the google analytics site, but I went back to the "old view" and there I saw the id tag in the url. Hope this helps you out.

This plugin is amazing, but when I go to the visits or pages menu I am getting this error:
Error: getReport() failed to get a valid XML from Google Analytics API service
I think I did everything as I'm supposed to but I don't know why it's happening. All those meta-tags must be written in the template index file, aren't they?

Does anybody know how to solve it? Thanks in advance!

This plugin seems to be built up very well. Great job! However, tracking IP addresses in Google Analytics is a violation of the terms of agreement of Google Analytics. They can ban you from using Google Analytics.
So you need to differentiate your visitors based on something else, like their login usernames

There are a lot of capable Analytic code plugins and modules on JED. If you want light and fast those can be great. But you want to give your clients a way to fully see their Analytics without leaving the site, as well as collect a lot of useful metric tools into one extension, definitely give this a go. I haven't looked too deeply at the administration code but the front-end Analytics injection is clean and semantic and keeping with best practices.
So glad to see this is updated and being ported to 1.6 +. I will definitely be rolling this into my core Joomla distro and contributing to the developers.

Easy to install and setup. And, it works! Thanks!
First off the review by VisualEffectsWorkshop is bogus and should be removed because he didn't even use the extension and therefore he didn't follow the rule "Do download and use an extension first before writing a review."
From someone who has downloaded and used the extension on every site I develop, this is a must have as it easily integrates Google Analytics on your site and is very useful for keeping track of everything you need pertaining to Usage Data. It is a must!!
Also, the guy has video tutorials and good documentation, all in English! So don't listen to the people who complain that part of his website is Russian. Here is a suggestion: use the English part :-)
Kind regards,
Nick

Very good, install is easy. Only have in doubt with ID, but I saw the movie and went very easy
Displaying the stats in the admin panel. This is exactly what I was looking for. Would appreciate some basic stats on frontend display. (I see you have the full frontend display as a paid version)
The demo video is great.
I am on my way to install this right now. Will come back if I have any issues.
Thanks!
PS: Download link is very slow:
You might want to provide a direct link to the extension.

This is a good idea generally, gives you a little more user friendly info than google analytics BUT it is so slow that cripples the component. I prefer using Google analytics itself, 1000% times faster than this and does offer the exact same feature. It would be great if it could gather data from the site and from the embedded search that the site of Joomla provides and bring some extra statistics and information to the administrator (what the users are searching for, etc).
A great extension, I am looking forward to use it aswell in the frontend.
Thanks for a great extension! Please keep up the great work. Very easy to install and setup plus the video instructions are very precise.
Guys, this extension is popular and yet very few donations to help the man keep doing the good work. Come on dudes, loosen those wallets.

The Best Stats Component out there
has everything you can wish for
though its missing some important stuff :
1- a decent site that one can navigate his way through it
2- internal update to get info about new updates
3- for the plugin currently it dont support uf8 ( i have users in arabic characters and it cant display them )
In Short : Great Start , Very Promising future
