You need a running Piwik installation and at least view access to your stats (I believe to have a standalone Piwik installation is much better as integrate it in Joomla). Also PHP 5 or higher is required.
Piwik is a downloadable, open source (GPL licensed) real time web analytics software program. It provides you with detailed reports on your website visitors: the search engines and keywords they used, the language they speak, your popular pages… and so much more.
Piwik is an open source alternative to Google Analytics.

What to say, Simple & Powerful extension, with superb options to show as many (or as little) languages you want + you can chose drop-down or just flags. And it works :) perfectly, translates whole pages in a matter of seconds (I have loads of text on some pages)
For other people who want to instal this extension:
I had issue when I first installed Iyosis Google translate, as module didn't work. After few hours trying to find workaround, and without success, I decided to contact Iyosis and to see can they help. Yes, even though this extension is free I got a reply within a few hours, and since 5-6 more emails were exchanged before solution :)
I have to mention that on my site module does not work on some module positions, so if you install it, and it doesn't work at first, try some other module positions, before contacting Iyosis. Site I am working on (90% finished) needed this little but powerful tool as it is apartments booking site, so additional languages can improve bookings.
I have started using Joomla 1.6 since its first days in January 2011, and I am sure I will stick with it, as I have discovered how many great modules and plugins are available. Best thing is that everyone is so friendly and supportive, no matter if you bought extension, or got it for free.
One more time I will like to thank Remzi (Iyosis guru) for helping me out to make use of this great tool.
