J!Analytics is a Joomla 1.6/1.5 module which inserts Google Analytics code into your web site pages.
Google Analytics allows you to track visitors to your web site and much more. For more information on Google Analytics and to get your Analytics ID visit http://www.google.com/analytics.
J!Analytics uses the latest ga.js script from Google as default and also allows you to use the legacy urchin.js script as well.

I was successful in installing the module and it appears that my site is now being tracked according to analytics. Yeah! Just one thing though, the editing the Template process is very different in 1.6 than is depicted in the implementation instructions/tutorial - would be great for newcomers to not have to fight through that.
I downloaded and installed this extension yesterday on my 1.6.3 joomla site. It works great, for the installation I just followed the steps described in the documentation, there is also a video! The instructions work also for joomla 1.6.. no problems at all... and it works like a charm! Really recomended..
I was looking for the best way to simply insert the google analytics tracking code on my new joomla site (1.5) and came across this plug-in. I got it up and running in 5 minutes and am now enjoying fresh google stats. Highly recommended plugin.
It works fine on 1.6 but due to lack of instructions it's not exactly quick to install.
This extension works great! I think it is currently the only Google analytics extension for Joomla 1.6, and I was unfamiliar with how to install it correctly. Technical support on this extension was by far, the most superior I have ever encountered. Dino helped walk me through the steps, answered all of my questions and was very timely in providing assistance. I highly recommend this developer!

This worked and had my Google analytics on my site in about 4 minutes start to finish thanks to the extraordinarily clear video and written instructions with --- amazing --- a real example of what it should look like. So many developers do great work but don't document or explain their plugins and leave live examples out. Congratulations for a job very well done.
