I actually had to make an account to say this!
As some new good made speedrank and my page was on 25/100. After some tweaks it went to 52/100, but after hours of tweaks and 3rd party cache/compression it wouldn't move from 52.
Then I saw this, which went from 52 to 96/100 with a click of a button! (Activate plugin!)
I REALLY thank you for this plugin and I'm willing to recommend this to ALL I know, who's running Joomla!

Once activated, everything went 3 times slower then before and I had to remove it immediately.

Please try to download the Joomla 1.5 version, if you have any difficulties you can use the forum for help.
I use this plugin on almost every site i've built and I haven't found anything that competes with it. does everything you could ever need to make sure your site css and js is optimized..
I tried several extensions and my favorite was the extension with the most reviews in this directory. It worked pretty on almost all my client's websites and became the only one that I used. I then upgraded my own site a few months ago and had to tweak and disable so many scripts that stopped using it. I then happen to see this one and gave it a try. Holy Cow! It did everything it claims! My code is so concise now! I tested my website on pingdom and it went from over 12 seconds download to under 6 seconds! Excellent job by the developer! This is my first review for any extension because it was that exciting to see an extenstion work so well.

Im using a pretty heavy template and this pluggin reduces the size of the site by almost half- just by compressing the JS and CSS. It worked to merge JS files, but broke when I tried to clean up HTML or merge css... however Im happy with a substantial boost in speed.

This plugin is super!!! I put it to the test.
I measured my site before installing the plugin and it took 15.55 seconds to download. I installed the plugin and with the default settings it took 9.9 seconds...almost half the time. When I set it up to optimize and merge everything...ONLY 5.78 SECONDS!!! DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE. THANK YOU

Looks really good but on my site (sider.nl) i can't turn JS compression on because then i get a major error (Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'JSMinException' with message 'Unterminated string literal).
When trying to reach developer it looks like you have to buy a subscription first..

For some reason my site was actually much slower when using this module.

Just install and within a minute it does the job with immediate gain of speed.
Parametrization permits fine tuning if necessary.
For example, after publishing the plugin, you must add
"plugins/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js" in the "Exclude .JS" list to be able to use the editor.
