...but I had this exact map at one of my websites for quite some time. It resets after 100 "stars". You will never have more than 100 locations marked on your map. When it hits 101, you will see just 1 star (heart, whatever) on the map. Point blank. I like the design of the map very much, they are all eye-candy, but it doesn't make sense. At least for me.

It's really a great module. Simple to install and it turned out great. Thank you!
and does what it says: Simply adjust settings and copy and paste the code into your website.

The module is nice. It showed my map in the menu column which I did not like.
I wanted a link to the map, and the map on its own page. And I wanted to use the HEAT map, instead of the others.
I was able to modify the coding for the module and get the HEAT map to work, but to show the map on it's own page from a link in the menu, I had to abandon this module and get creative.
For those that want the heat map or any of the maps.amung.us maps to show on it's own page, and link to it from the menu, I pasted directions in the forums at this link:
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,257570.0.html
For anyone wanting the HEAT map to show in your menu column, paste a reply in the forum link above and I will add that procedure to the topic as well.
Please remember that this still does not fix the error in the MAPS code that draws users away from your site when clicking the map.As mentioned in the previous review, that is coding issues with the creators of the map itself and you would have to talk to them about changing that feature.

Module loads easily in Joomla 1.0.13 settings are all basic and easy to follow.
With the instructions found at joomladigger I had this add-on up and running in 10 min.
One drawback I found is the link in the module, I't opens the maps.among.us page in the same window, so your visitors are taken off your site.
A setting to open the link in separate window will make this module far more popular.

Hi Bipod. This module simply makes it easy for you to display the Flash widget from maps.amung.us. Since it is Flash (and not HTML, JavaScript or PHP), this means that we can't change the click-through behavior. However, when your visitors do click through to maps.amung.us, there are links back to every page on your site that have been visited by anybody recently, which makes it very easy for your visitors to return. You'll have to contact the developers at maps.amung.us if you want the widget to function differently.
