After installation you must configure component parameters and after that publish the plugin.
Plugin add comment box on article pages. You can chose which categories or section will have Facebook comments.
Version 2.3 adds some extra functionalities, CSS styling for comments and for div around it (you can use it now on black background too), language integration, color scheme and fewer bugs (error reporting).

The FBCA is a useful extension, the documentation on getting it running is very weak so it seems to work on some installations and others more by luck than skill. For example, currently there is only a plugin for download on the website , so the management of the comments doesn't work on the site I've just reinstalled it on. Also on none of my sites does it work on Firefox 12.0, though they are working fine on Safari, and of course with the lack of documentation its hard to tell if its a problem of my fault, of Firefox's or just a buggy module.
So ... at your own risk, it might work - and when it works its excellent, but you might struggle and/or find it stops working in the future for hard to figure out reasons.

The component is good and has a good potential.
Problems:
- The documentation is outdated since facebook now has different fields that the ones in the tutorial. I had to figure things out myself. And I'm still unable to get the API. When I hover mu mouse, it tells me to check the site documentation, which says nothing on that!
- It keeps asking me to connect to facebook every time I login to my control panel, which is really tedious.
Suggestions:
- Add a way to notify the admin about new comments either via email or via facebook. Or at least add a tab in the front page of the control panel to show the latest comments
- Add a module (on the front-end) that lists the latest comments.

Well, the extension works at all... but in can´t see nothing in fbca manager in the backend. I always get this: Please first configure Your app parameters

Installed it and used it for a while, but all of the sudden, today the component isn't working. I don't get the comments below articles, nothing. Even in the admin component menu, I only get the "Please login to Facebook to use the component" with no box to click and login to Facebook.
Great application! Easy to install and works perfectly.
Just one question, is it possible to switch the language?
i tried to set a different Language Code in the box, but nothing works except en_US.
I would need to switch it to italian language.

works perfectly, thank you very much ... I've only seen a small problem because in firefox runs fine but internet explorer does not work is not the comments ...

Great application and got support within 20 minutes. Whould be great if it becomes possible to have a 'comment' link under each article on the frontpage.

again another developer who gets it! your instructions are clear on your site (documentation link not working) and it installed like a dream! to those who are contemplating a commenting system: this one is managed by the facebook powerhouse leaving you to do more important things like run the rest of your site. best of all it can be styled so please give this developer at least 5 stars and be fair... this works really well and... its free. the potential to increase traffic via facebook is just an install away.

I installed the comp, then setup the app info, and when i tried to connect to Facebook nothing happen i tried with differents browsers

This is finally a great way to integrate comments without having people to register or to moderate guests. The only thing I would like to see is if somehow I can change the color scheme of the text to better fit my website...otherwise this is fantastic and easy to use.
Thank you very much for the excellent plugin. It's so helpful. I encountered a problem though after I installed the KA Social Sharing plugin. When i enable that the FBca, even though it's enabled (of course), it doesn't show the comment form and nothing else it's supposed to show. Thank you! :)
I love the idea of having the Facebook comment system inside my Joomla site. This is just genius, especially when using Facebook to promote your site. The only problem I have with it is that it seams you cannot use this on a dark background web site because you cannot change the font color or bg color of the comment boxes. Other than that its great!
It works like a charm, and the developer is really helpful when it comes to installation instructions & troubleshooting.
The only drawback is that it cannot be used in conjunction with other facebook connect modules (my issue was a conflict with jomsocial fb connect), but I think this is a facebook restriction so there's nothing to be done.
