Mod_rar_radio The new version has the following characteristics:
* Support for Silverlight (mms: / /)
* Support for Windows Media Player (mms: / /)
* Radios MP3 (icecast & shoutcast) y Windows media
mod_RAR_Radio is a Joomla 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 beta compatible module con radios en linea sobre mp3(icecast & shoutcast), usa otro programas como:
* JW FLV player y JW WMV player : This player is free for non-commercial sites, if your site is commercial license you have to pay them by pointing to the site.
* JavaScript: Use JavaScript to launch the pop-up windows to launch a popup correctly please visit nosolousabilidad.com where we got the script.
* Windows media Player object embed
mod_RAR_RADIO
has the following features:
* Radio playback MP3 (icecast & shoutcast) and Windows media
* Image of Listen Now! and your alt text

This is an excellent extension and is working very well!
Can somebody please tell me how to change the front-end image and popup image? I have entered the new URLs but it doesn't seem to be working - I'm definitely something wrong. Would appreciate guidance!

Yes this does what it says and was quite easy to set up although it would have been easier in english but not too difficult to work out and use.
It really needs a 'track now playing' and a 'current Artist' display, if it had these i would have probably given it an 'excellent' rating, i looked at the code to see if i could add these in but i am quite new to coding behind the scenes so couldn't work it out.
In fairness, this module does what it says it can do with relative ease, i chose this for the popup function as i couldn#t get kessef popup to display properly and i am glad that mod rar radio worked well as i was unable to find anything with a popup as good as this that worked!
Thankyou and look forward to an update or player from you guys that incorporates the above fields

Been using this for about 4 months now for my forum section, it simply just creates a nice button once clicked a pop up window will display with any shoutcast/radio channel you like. Great feature for my forum :)
is an excellent module I solved my problem of transmission of audio besides his spoporte is excellent thanks for everything

Wonderful - it was the last one I tried (and I was almost ready to give up completely) but fortunately it was the one that worked!!
Among several options, this module seems the best option for integrating your Icecast/Shoutcast stream, creating a properly-sized popup box, (optionally) adding google AdSense, and/or customizing your own graphic ad above the play-control bar. (I'm going to see if I can get a sponsor for that prime space.) :-)
I'd love to see a song-now-playing and other track attributes in the player, but for what it does — streaming your station — you can't go wrong using this web-radio module.

This developer has done a great job. I used this extension on my site now and it works and displays flawlessly, especially with WMP stream. It doesn't play flash MP3 stream though, but it could just be my own issue. But, overall, I just can't thank this guy enough. Many other commercial extensions are not as neat as this. Lord help me, I must donate!
I have to say that this is a great module that does exactly what it says. Easy to set up, pop up works flawlessly. The only thing that needs to be added is "Module Class" option so it can fit better into some templates. Thanks for this module. :)
