Want to easily post Youtube videos on your Joomla website in a variety of sizes & colors AND from a variety of authors, channels and playlists?

Our Youtube module for Joomla 1.5 makes it super easy to post YouTube videos anywhere on your site in just about any way you can imagine without having to edit a single line of html code.

Up until now, Joomla and Youtube didn’t always play nice together. If you wanted to post YouTube videos on your site, you had to either manually embed lines of code deep inside Joomla’s index.php file, or you had to configure complicated 3rd party video software that often crashed your Joomla website.

Well, not anymore!

With just a few mouse clicks, you can now embed and customize 1,2,3,4...as many YouTube players on your Joomla website as you want ..easily. What’s more, each web page can even pull in its own unique videos!

With the ‘corePHP’ YouTube module for Joomla, you can pull in Random Videos, Videos from a specific User or Playlist, the Top Rated videos on Youtube, the Top Favorites on YouTube, the Most Viewed, the Most Popular, the Most Recent, the Most Discussed, the Most Linked, the Most Responded and Recently Featured Videos from Youtube.

Additionally, you can pull in videos based on a search query (“Detroit Lions win football game” or “cute puppy videos”) or by category (hip hop, celebrity, etc) ..even by author ID!

And once your videos have been posted, you can have them set to autoplay or not (video starts upon page load); you can enable loop (same video plays over and over); include Related Videos and so much more.

In fact, there are over 47 customizable parameters in all that control which video feeds you bring in and how they are presented once they are posted!

Features at a Glance:

* NEW - Playlist Bar - New designed added
* NEW - Added functionality for player type. Get the look you want. Go to YoutTube to create a custom player
* NEW - Added jQuery library - Turn on or off
* UPDATED - Now an option to have a different video appear each time the user refreshes or goes back to the page.
* Change your feed daily or keep it the same!
* Choose one or several locations throughout your site.
* Each web page can pull its own videos!
* Videos can be pulled from YouTube’s top ratings, your channel, your favorites list, and much more!
* Choose the custom size and color of the player that best fits your template.

When it works it's excellent, easy to configure and install and is ideal for displaying YouTube feeds in a module. Unfortunately, though, when it fails to work you're on your own. Over a week after submitting a ticket at corephp.com I have still had no reply at all, despite supplying not only all the information but also full access to our site with admin rights.

It may be very inexpensive but as a commercial extension I expect a commercial service - not to be left with an extension that only works with individual youtube videos, something that is available widely through free extensions. If this was a UK product I would be pursuing a refund under Consumer Protection legislation as without support and in its present state it is unfit for purpose. Instead I wiill now have to waste valuable time and money finding an extension that DOES work and has adequate support.

I have looked up your account and have no records of any emails or submitted support ticket. We offer many ways to submit a support ticket to our system:

1: Login to your account and visit and submit a support ticket by clicking on Submit Tickets.
2: Email support [ at ] corephp.com
3: Reach out to us on our forums by visiting http://www.corephp.com/forum/

We work hard to provide the best support for all of our products and services.

I kindly request that you retract the above statement until you fulfill the available support options. And for $7 we still provide the best support around. We don't like to leave any of our users hanging.

Kindest regards,

I forgot to check before buying and the promotional blurb doesn't mention this extension requires Flash to operate, so useless for people viewing via an iPad.

Also beware of the recurring $7 subscription. You will have your credit card or Paypal account automatically debited every year unless you specifically cancel the recurring subscription.

I use this extension on a customer web site to pull videos from is YouTube account. The module work flawlessly. I was able to customize the videos scrolling bar (Playlist) (buttons and all) and the screen itself to exactly what I need.

The only problem I encounter was a flickering effect with the rollover buttons on Explorer. I think it’s more an Explorer problem. Fix it with CSS Sprites.

Thanks!

I hope that this module will not be pass over anymore by JED users. The fact that is categorized as a commercial extension doesn't mean that it is "expensive". I had to pay $1.99 to download it (with a 30% coupon discount the price was $1.39) FOR A YEAR! subscription. If after a year of subscription you don't renew it you can still use the module but you will be unable to update it. YouTube channels will do exactly what it says it will do. And it is not difficult to set its parameters. I cannot say anything about support because I didn't have any need to use it. I recommend this module very much, and invite people to explore the practicality, easy use, and quality of this product.

This is a great Module very easy to install and has a reasonable amount of adjustables.

However you can only request support if you take out a support package. The developers do offer a free knowledgebase but as this module is new it doesn't seem to be covered as yet.

Suggestion...It would be great if we could choose whether the default layout is the detail layout, with the channel running across the bottom or the simple version as users may not release what the button is for.
