PROS: This component and module is far from useless. There are updates on the author website to version 5.8 and with a read on their forum, you can make the latest version work on Joomla! 1.6.
CONS: Richard has been rather busy lately so he has not been able to catch up as quickly as usual with keeping things current on this site. So, it may be a slight inconvenience to visit his website forum.
All in all this component and module is fantastic for game server hosts and it is difficult to find anything that comes remotely close to these extensions. If more people could help on the project I believe it could surpass some of the game tracking hosts out there that exist at present who don't even track half of the games LGSL does track. Contact Richard or a moderator to offer assistance. Long Live LGSL! :D

Very good tool but way behind the times. This needs to be updated, this mod does not have any new games such as Homefront, Black Ops adn others.
It is useless unless you play old games

First I want to thank Richard for the work he has done to create this tool. Second I want to say that most people don't realize what it takes to query a server much less invoke one so the work in this component is exceptional. Yes it has some problems here and there but they are mostly due to issues that are related to the actual servers and not the component. This extension is for people who have a working knowledge of php and detailed site creation. Not for the Noob but if you feel adventurous it's not too hard to use, the forums at Richards site are full of info. Once it's up and running it ROCKS!!!! Considering no one else has attempted to create an extension like it, is a testament to how much work goes in to this kind of thing. The back end use is very simple and basic, the installation is easy, the tweeks are basic to difficult depending on how much detail you are looking for. By far this is one of the finest components I've worked with in Joomla since I can remember. I highly recommend it for a gamer clan site or personal gamer site. Thanks again Richard!
Very impressed with LGSL...You probably will need to visit the forum for advice on the ports but it is well supported by the dev and members on the greycube forum.
If you run gaming servers this is a must have.
It shows what map/track is running on our server, how many people on the server and even allows with one click to join our servers
Highly recommended!

I use the “Point, Click, and Pray” method of programming. It took me less than 5 minutes to install and configure. I did have a problem but went to the developer’s web site and found a simple fix, so it took about 10 to 15 minutes to complete the install. :) It works exactly the way I expected to work from reading the description. Awesome job!
Sorry, it will be a great thing if there is a Serverlist or any Information how to find this Gameservers. It does not automaticly Refresh or Update the Game Server List. Sorry for me is it Useless
Seems very interesting. Would really want to implement it. But the description needs to be more elaborative. I mean if anyone wants to implement it from scratch then he should be able to do by reading the summary
