The only problem I have is that if you show server settings you cannot switch back between Players & Settings with those tabs, it gets stuck on the server settings. Apart from that it does as it should and keeps your server list looking neat.
Every so often, it has trouble connecting to the game server.
My game network runs 5 SA-MP servers and a TeamSpeak, and we ran into some serious trouble with this on Joomla! 3.0 and above, even using the version 3.0 of this component. No matter what we did, the "Test It" button would literally "Freeze" on "Testing..." after putting in the game servers information (Even the TeamSpeak)
So I took to the components support forums to seek assistance.
A previous reviewer hit the nail on the head when he/she stated that they always ask for the ip and port but would ignore any other questions. After skimming through a foreign language (Failing epicly using the Google Translate Chrome) I noticed that many peoples questions were ignored, especially if they spoke english.
What is even MORE funny, is this component is on the latest version (3.0 at the time of writing this), it's telling me to update (which is a roll back) to 2.6?
If you can get this to work like we did, use it! It's awesome! But don't expect support, unless you speak the language.
We recently started a gaming community and needed a way to track our servers. Didn't have to search for long.
The component basically covers all of our needs.
Its easy to set up, easy to operate, really easy to maintain and
it covers a huge bucket of games.
The greatest part, it is free.
The developer thought about everything!
Another huge plus punt that I've requested a custom thingie, and he has clearly written how to perform this, within a few hours.
Futhermore, this component supports almost all games. And if it doesn't support your game yet, it will surely be included in the next release :)
The best is that its free!!
So a big A+++ for this component!
Forum support for all posts asks for IP & Port number. If your reply asks other questions or anything other than the IP or port it gets ignored.
Lacks maps for the supported games so get your photoshop out ready just in case it works for you.
Uninstalls very easy and fits nicely in the recycle bin.
Give this a miss...
