Unfortunately this component requres Legacy mode on Joomla. It requires use of the back end to build raids; I think this should be on the front end. Documentation is thin at best. On the front end there are some features that are not explained as being for YOUR USER and not for the site in general (i.e. adding characters to a raid).
The feature that would make this component great would be the ability for a raid leader to see a list of all available characters and to select them (or confirm them).
