I think that the developers are earning money through webmasters installing Lucy Games on their joomla websites, by automatically adding their affiliate number to the installation.

For the Custom list option you have to write games id separated by commas. You can find game is in the url of each game, it is a four digits number, look for the "gameid" parameter.
Example: ...gameid=7611...
Custom ids list: 7611,3935,5958
Have fun.
A couple of things though: How do I categorize the games on my site according to genre ie online, PC, Strategy, adventures, puzzle etc. Will like to be able to display the games on my site in this manner.
secondly, is it possible to do a white label partnership with the publishers/distributor to enable the site owner make advertising or otherwise revenue off these games on a share basis with the publisher/developer.
Keep up the good work
We are proud of you for your enthusiasm,
for the categorization, you must create a menu link for each appropriate category, choosing the options that interest you: language, platform, genre, keyword.
The search bug was fixed promptly on the server side, no component update needed.

thing is i just dont get the concept of this. Perhaps its me, but i like to offer free content for my members and lucys games are anything but free. The first thing you see when you kick up your games page is things like (play free for an hour)or (Download the Demo). Very off putting. Then i thought ok, lets have a look at the FREE online games section. Yes they are free, for the first 4 levels maybe (which translates into 5 minutes of game play for my members) Then they have to download the games and more than likely have to pay to play.
Like i said, i just dont get the concept. I know that server space is expensive, i know that bandwidth is too, but i do think the write up of what Lucys games really is should be altered. This is a portal for paying games with not much free play for members.
You say "strange", I think "innovative"!
As stated in the description: "All games are dowloadable and fully playable for free. If the end user likes the game will then pay for the full unlimited version." So what do I have to alter?
Five minutes? Ok, You are Flash playing at top speed...
Major Kudos! These folks are brilliant! Not only high level product, but Tech/Development Support that is both courteous and totally clued in.
I asked if there was some way I could set a keyword or build a module to filter for specific types of games, eg: girls games, Halloween, etc. Within 24 hours I had the updated module installed and working 100% with no glitches on my grand-daughters Halloween makeover site. Ya, ya, I know! It's just a little thing. But not to my grand-daughter! And that's what Real World Product Development is really about. With service like this these folks have definitely moved the bar up!
Oh ya... and the install was effortless for both the component and the module. No fuss! No muss!
I'm sorry for this, at this time wen user click on games link are directed to external site. In the next days I have to update server side scripts so behavior change mantaining the user into your site.
No need to update Joomla component, it is done silently at server side, by me on my spare time...
You can publish our Online games, free of Ads. Other game extensions uses banners to monetize. Lucy just fit better on your template.
