Good component with nice module. If you need a component for your sport club website, it's the better you will find. I used this extension for a soccer site and for a tennis site, and it works for both very well.

Thanks for that. Works like my swiss kuku clock. Just results modul does not have any parameters so it is useless.

I bought the pro version for a sports groups I represent because it appeared it would do exactly what we wanted. It installed easily and worked great until we found it would not support multiple use of the same team name and slowed to a crawl with 47 leagues and over 500 teams. I tried repeatedly to get them to "chat" with me about us paying them to make certain changes but they ignored all requests to chat.

I use the system for a new sport called Koneball, which is now played in only two countries, but it's spreading nonetheless. I've implemented it along with the whole one-on-one system the paid version supports, which is actually very worth the money paid for it. I have no seen any errors in the long run, and it works much smoother than the Joomla competitor to this component. Well done, BearDev. I'm looking forward to more updates and new features in the near future!

If you are not going to buy the "paid for" version, don't bother downloading this component. I spent hours entering teams, matches, tournaments etc.,only to find that the front-end doesn't work. I couldn't find any info on their forums as to whether some features are disabled in the free version.

I'm using this on my site whith over 7000 players, 20 tournments 10000 match and so more...

it is a fantastic component with great support and continuous upgrades with new additions!!!

This is a very good component but one thihg is missing.There is no way to add negative points in ranking.Some teams in my league were punished and they got -3 points in competition but i can`t add them to the table.Is there a solution for this?

I've been using Bearleague (former name of Joomsport) for about 1 year and this is a great tool.
Their support service is excellent too. I would recommend it without any restriction!

On the front end this looks great and makes things like team rosters, photos and stats easy to manage.

On the back end it made my sports team website easy to use and unlike other options is idiot proof (and doesn't crash).

I had the original bearleague installed and the team behind this seem to pay attention to "wish lists" applying changes with updates which continue to improve the product.

Hi, this is my favourite extension here on JED. Very good for maintaining infos about a football club. The new updates are also very nice, hope updates will be more frequent and thanks for this great extension!.

This is a perfect extension for a football club. It is easy to install and to manage. There is a lot of inevitable work in the back end to settle your league, but then it looks great.

It would be even better if, inside the player's area, next to the player's "statistics", there was a section for the player's "videos", where you could embed youtube videos of that player.

Needed a Joomla sports module for a football website and a basketball website. After doing alot of research and testing it became clear that BearLeague is by far the best sports module available at this time. It's still being updated, unlike some other modules and the support staff will quickly answer any questions and offers customizations.

The module is mainly geared towards soccer and I needed to change some of the wording to make it more football and basketball friendly and support provided me with the simple changes to meet my needs.

Thanks BearDev for providing a great product and I hope you continue to improve the #1 sports module available!!

I run a soccer website for the local High School & needed some custom coding done. John from Beardev did an awesome job & was very professional in handling my problems!

I've been admin'ing several sports at the club and league levels for decades. I know most of the online club and league web site providers, what they offer and that they are expensive for non-profit clubs.

I was very happy to finally see a Joomla! solution that addresses some of the needs for clubs and leagues. This Com has been long awaited and shows much promise.

One suggestion for the developers is to make the Com into a extenison that gives the user a choice or a club or league model. Presently the extension is a bit of club and a bit of league these non-profit organizations.

Clubs - want to list their teams, their player rosters, team/player pics and match reports only. This is because schedules and standings are retained online by the league as they are official.

Leagues - leagues are generally run by league boards and have their own sites for official content. Besides schedules, standings and park locations they use only team info like, Team Name, Club and Contact Info.

Club Leagues - clubs have their own leagues for teams that are called house who don't participate in official leagues. This is due to the level of play or the players are too young.

Tournaments - clubs do tournamens mostly for fundraising. This involves, standings, schedule and field locations, Team Names and Team Contacts. Tournaments can either be Round Robin or Group Play like the FIFA World Cup.

ALL my tournaments have different criteria to determine positions - tied teams (1st-overall points 2nd-points in head-to-head matches 3rd-goal-difference in head-to-head matches 4th-overall goal-difference). To finish my site about my team i need one component for management my leagues and my team, but its absolutely necessary that the component have this feature. In other case, the ranking of team based only in 1st- overall points and 2nd-goal-difference its false. The component joomleague have this feature, but i prefer bearleague because is joomla 1.5 native, is more compact, the code is more clearly, i like the tabs system...but i need this feature, is absolutely necessary for me and of certainty for many other users.It is possible?

I have only just begun to use your extension, and so far i am very pleased. I have tried several similar extensions but this one fits all of my needs. I use it to keep track of one soccer team and one hockey team. And (so far) it works like a charm.

The downside is to do all the background stuff before it runs smoothly, meaning adding all teams, fixtures etc, but you cant really work a easy way around that. ;)

I am going to make a swedish translation for this if that is ok, i guess its as simple as with all the other extensions. If you want a copy, then just give me a call!

The extension is really good, perfect for running a football league, or club.
Unfortunately it lacks when it comes to other sports such as bball, where table of sortable results and statistics is necessary both for presenting stats and writing them in.
I hope this can be implemented some day.

once again it works great, just hope it can offer more.
