Hi there,
I purchased this app a week ago for my guild site, and it worked right out of the box.
Guild setup was easy, straight forwards and as advertised.
I tried to customize the module to fit in with my site and design requirements, which after e-mailing the author, i got a very fast response, detailing what changes I would have to make.

So i redid the images, and progress bars to fit in with my site`s needs, and they look really nice imo.

Ive also been working on editing the drop down progress bar menu, which I am still working on, mainly due to my inept coding skills, but again, i sent an email, and received a response fairly rapidly, with an email of apology for not replying faster due to him being away for a couple of days, which I thought was a nice touch, and helped me to implement my next changes.

Alls going well and I am really happy with this product, and could not recommend this more highly and the support has been excellent A++

There is only one downside to this app, which doesn't seem like its the developers fault, if for some reason, wow armory is down and can not return the data, you get a screen full of xml code spam.
Not sure if some sort of error detection can be implemented to stop this, but its only a minor issue really.

Overall, Excellent app, Excellent support
A++

I purchased this mod yesterday to check it out. The author of this mod certainly has the right idea, but the overall visual appearance and loading time needs work.

Two issues:
1. It takes a very long time to load (on average 30-60 seconds) whether or not I have the whole guild included.

An internet visitor is not going to sit and stare at a small icon for 30-60+ seconds and wait for a guild's progress status to load. If you navigate away from it and come back, it has to reload again and the whole process repeats.

2. The second issue is the appearance. If you want to keep it to just the one icon then at least make it a bit larger so it fits in a standard module position. IMO removing the icon and writing it out with some back-end options would be awesome if the author is willing to do it. Even being able to include more than one dungeon at a time would be awesome. An example
of what I am talking about can be seen on the eqdkp plus page or just Google wow guild progress module.

Thank you.

Hello Pixelmuse,

thanks for reviewing my extension!

First of all, I'm aware of the loading time, even if it's reduced after the first cache period. I usually suggest to evaluate small groups of players (the ones who represent a group, even 4 or 5 players) because the XML file are big and even if I use SimpleXML as smartly as possible, it's always a file parsing. I may implement a database tracking, but that would increase the 1st time calculations waaaaay longer.

As of the appearance, you're free to change them, it's just a matter of CSS and images (well, maybe some CSS values in the PHP files, but I should easily be able to move them in the stylesheet). To track several raids would mean to duplicate or more the processing time and not useful imho as you can always enable two different modules, one under the other. About the "standard module sizes", I found nothing about it on the joomla website and I'm not aware about such sizes. If only you could link me some advises replying here or using the support email, I'd be glad to change this :)

Looks great.
Wish there where more settings for (caching, updating, and appearance.)

Had issues downloading emailed support and received a prompt response.

What's the difference between caching and updating? I'm updating the component to accept the cache period, what about the updating thing?

I came across this module after searching for hours for a good Joomla! module for World of Warcraft Raid tracking.

I had problems getting the module to work at first and contacted support. Support prompted responded and I got everything working.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a progression module!
