'Image TTF Menu' module help You make Your site template more attractive in rapid and simple way.
Very simple installation: just install and publish module (one click)
Main features are:
- images are created 'on the fly'. You do not need to create/upload pictures to have graphic menu
- cursor over (mouse hover) can change the picture
- style for current (on state, active) menu item
- background could be transparent, filled by colour or could be an image
- Caption rotation and vertical alignment
- Background horizontal and vertical alignment
- creating menu that have only caption replaced by image
- template remain the same - all features of original Joomla menu

Many thanks to developers of the given menu, I am engaged in creation of sites, and to mail in all projects I use your menu. It very flexible on the options, convenient also works stably.

This is an excellent extension - does what it says for 100% (and more!). Perfectly fitted my need: create menu with custom font. without any image background - just simple menu, but with custom font.
So I created two menus - main menu and top menu. The last is with submenu - works perfect!

i have a friend with demands, one of his demands was to use his own font in the top menu.
after trying many other codes and component , plugin, i found this module.
it works smooth and very us full.
install in less then a click of a button and was totally adjust to my site in less then 5 minutes.

I spent almost a day on making this work, first of all because I didn't have a freetype enabled gd, even though I did have freetype installed, so I had to rebuild everything.
Then, I was using transparent backround and as any normal person out there I did not bother to read the hints of each config option so naturally I did not set the background color, making things look bad so I upgraded my freetype to latest and had to rebuild yet again (I have to learn how to upgrade without rebuilding everything).
Anyway, eventually I got around RTFM-ing after exhausting every other option, just like any other normal person :D and that solved it.
My menu troubles came to an end. The exact width combined with centering helps on creating a nice horizontal menu. It rocks :)

Its amazing! I just spent hours making mouseover images for a rollover menu...too bad i didnt find this module first! you never need to do that again - also, dont need to upload all those images! you just upload your font instead, and it uses that font ttf file to generate the graphic menu links. and then you can choose a rollover color and it will switch to that image when you mouseover. fantastic -
I'm not a big fan of images for menus (because of accessibility concerns), but if it's a requirement for your project then this module will do nicely. It generates images for your menu text + rollover images, both can be based on a background image and there are the necessary parameters for font color, padding etc.
Only caveat is that it doesn't work properly on PHP 4 (tested with PHP 4.4 and 4.8), it inserts the images after the menu text instead of replacing the text with images. But then PHP 4 is outdated anyway.
