This is the perfect 'bot. It does exactly one function and works correctly. I just installed, published, entered my Google code and saved.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a bot (not a module or component), and it simply publishes the Google Sitemaps verification code on your site. In order to actually generate the Google Sitemap you must have the Joomap component installed.

Great extension - took me a few attempts to work out it needed to be installed as a mambot Doh!. But once I realised that this uploaded and installed like a dream - and google found and verified the site first time.
