The look of the button is fully configurable from the backend,
you can change the text, font-color, font-size, background images and much more.
As of version 1.0.8 the button text can be translated in the plugin configuration or by using language files. Additionally we added an option to display the button also in the administrator interface.
You can also define how many pixels must be scrolled down before the button appears, the time that the button needs to fade in and out and if the button should be transparent by setting the opacity between 0.1 and 1.

This plugin works with MooTools 1.1x that is included in Joomla 1.5 and it is compatible with every browser, even with IE 6!

This is a very nice and slick plugin. Unlike others I have tried, this one works in the front-end and the back-end. Great work!

This Plugin works very well. It was super easy to install, with tons of customization options. One thing I do wish they would add is a way to set how fast it scrolls back up to the top of the page. Otherwise, completely customizable and easy to use plugin! Definitely the best out of the ones I looked at.
Does exactly what it says. Very sensible default settings. Just installed, enabled, and I was done.
Blends well with the smoothscroll.js script from kryogenics.org, which provides smooth scrolling between any page anchors. I use the latter on long pages for top-down links, and J2Top on all pages, for back to top links. Thanks to the developers !

Very nice extension, does exactly what's supposed to do, easy configurable, it took me 5 minutes to have it set...

Unfortunately, as trijulio experienced, my site is broken.
Immediately after I "clicked" the enable button for this plugin the cursor icon of the browser just kept spinning endlessly and my site is now screwed up. I can't load my site and I can't even load in the administrator to remove the plugin.
Joomla is the latest 1.5.22

Unfortunately, just like trijulio you have not asked for support in the forums and you have also not contacted us in any way. It is strange that with 10,000+ downloads the only two reports of this happening are here as reviews, without any detailed information. We always give prompt support to the users of our free extensions and go out of our way to help others out in solving their issues and in this case we are 100% sure that the conflict is caused by another extension on your site. J2Top is a very basic script. Thanks for the review.

I tried three other plugins to do the same thing this one does. You would think that something as simple as going to the top of the page would be simple. Not so though. This plugin went in fast and worked right away. Great plugin,
