Bootstrap Menu Module

The Bootstrap Menu Module for Joomla is a Joomla 2.5.x module that allows you to display your menu on websites that are styled based on Twitter Bootstrap 2.0.x. Twitter Bootstrap is an excellent HTML/CSS/jQuery based framework with many beautifull styled user interface components and interactions.

Within Twitter Bootstrap extra care was put into creating highly customizable list-style navigation. Definitions were written for Navs, tabs and pills.

The options Carets Main & Carets Sub, allows you choose if you want to show/display the down and right arrows icons for menu-items that have sub-itemns.

The Show Icons option will also be a nice feature. It will allow the displaying of the Bootstrap Glyph-icons on the frontend menu-items. All you'll have to do is just add the item in the notes field of the menu item, for example "icon-home icon-white' and the icon is added to the menu.

We're also working on options to set the vertical and horizontal offset for the dropdown menu's. But this may come in a phase 2 of the module.

The module is based on the Joomla 2.5 standard menu module.

For the menu type you will be able to choose the following:

> Static Navbar
> Basic Pills
> Basic Tabs
> Stacked Pills
> Stacked Tabs
> Pills with dropdowns
> Tabs with dropdowns
> Nav list

Of the eight styles of menu styles Only 6 Nvar which were the ones I wanted I worked, I had to use Pills With Dropdowns to solve my need.

This is a great menu module for any site using twitters bootstrap as a framework. If you're already using the Joostrap template then save yourself some time and get this menu mod too. The fantastic support from Phil and Rene is an added bonus.
